Collection consists of papers relating to Christopher Stanislas Blake, gourmet and author of plays, short stories, and cookbooks on Louisiana-style cooking. Writings include copies of three plays, 5 Rue Christine, Triptych, and The Umbilical Cord. Correspondence includes copies of letters to Blake regarding his plays from James P. Comer, Jean Dalrymple, and Jahn Otto Johansen, several letters from Blake to Butler, and third party letters between Butler and others, most promoting Blake's legacy. Other materials include four portrait photographs of Blake by Courtenay Nearburg and a copy of a collection of short stories by Tim Sullivan.
