Manuscript, on paper, in a single hand, of a Thomistic treatise on the nature of moral philosophy, including four disputations on the ultimate end of humankind, human actions, moral virtues, and the proper relation between humanity and the supernatural. The argument throughout is directed against the "Jansenist heresy." Illustrated with six inserted religious engravings, including a frontispiece celebrating the gift of the rosary to St. Dominic.
