Manuscript, in a single hand, of a collection of several dozen entries of excerpted poetry and original poems. The collection contains excerpts from poems by Gottfried Burger, Lodovico Ariosto, Torquato Tasso, Metastasio, John Milton, and Ewald Christian von Kleist, as well as original poems titled Woden and Mary; The boat, a ballad; and a paraphrased psalm. On the fly-leaf is a large watercolor of Minerva signed "Miss Mart. Colquohon fecit." Other decorative sketches appear throughout the manuscript, including watercolors of forest scenes and flowers.
