[The deplorable life and death of Edward the Second], [ca. 1625].

Manuscript on paper, in a single Italic hand, of Hubert's poem attacking Edward II's reign in 581 seven-line stanzas. The text is similar to the 1628 printed edition of "The deplorable life and death of Edward the Second," but the manuscript has an extra stanza 487, making the total 581 instead of 580 as printed. At end, dos-a-dos, is a 22-page work, "A short view of ye raigne of Henry ye third. Written by Sir Robert Cotton Knight Barronet 1614 and by him presented to his Ma[jesty] the same yeare."
