Alaska Ship Building & Lumber Co. ship's log and certificate of incorporation, 1874-1875.

Ship's log (57 p.) entitled, "Notes on Expedition to Alaska. Every day experiences and doings from departure to return," kept by W. Landon. Landon recorded observations on timber, soil, fish, game, geology, and describes the Indians in the area. Accompanied by a certificate of incorporation of the Alaska Ship Building & Lumber Company dated Jan. 25, 1875, and signed by the nine trustees.
