Descripcion de esta mision de N. P. San Francisco del Atti y su visita San Antonio de Oquitoa, 1796 Nov 7.

Report by Francisco Moyano on conditions at the mission of San Francisco del Atti. Moyano, who was one of the administrators of the mission, reports that it is largely self-supporting, although the Colegio Apostólico de Propaganda de Fide de la Cruz de Queretaro contributes 350 pesos annually to its upkeep. The Indians have remained quietly in their villages, perhaps because of the diseases which have killed many of them, and as their numbers diminish their lands are being taken over by Spanish settlers of many castes. Moyano also suggests that the mission should begin planting wheat, which has a higher yield than corn.
