Box, Music [realia]. 1920 circa

Small tortoise-shell music box has an oval-shaped gold plate on the front with a floral design. When a thin gold bar on the front side is moved, the plate lifts, a dove of peace pops up, and a gold filigree base is revealed. The bird is made of blue, green and red feathers. On the back there is a hole for a key. There is a hinged door in the back to store the key, which is missing. When the box is wound, the bird flutters its wings and whistles.
