The collection of North Korean and United Nations Propaganda Leaflets were collected and donated by Robert Shaw. Series I. North Korean leaflets are propaganda leaflets created in the early 1960s by The Democratic People's Republic of Korea (DPRK), also known as North Korea, and distributed to the Republic of Korea (ROK), also known as South Korea. Series II. United Nations/South Korean leaflets are propaganda leaflets created at the same time and distributed by the United Nations and the ROK to the DPRK.

In 1945, four individuals who had worked on the Manhattan project-John L. Balderston, Jr., Dieter M. Gruen, W.J. McLean, and David B.
