Royal Canadian Air Force : pilot's flying log book / K. C. Mason. 1941-1968.

Two volumes documenting the flight logs, training exercises, and combat operations of RCAF pilot K.C. Mason. Mason begins flyer instruction training in the early 1940s, based in Trenton, ON. He changes bases fairly frequently, moving about Ontario and then Saskatchewan and Alberta. In 1944-1945, as a member of Squadron 418, he engages in bombing operations in Germany. He returns to Canada after the war and is stationed variously in Trenton, Cold Lake, AB, and Saskatoon, SK. The final entries in the volume 2 record his involvement in the Comox Flying Club (Comox, BC). Both volumes contain inserted certificates of flying proficiency, and volume 1 contains 4 photographs of his aircraft and fellow officers, as well as a newspaper clipping detailing the success of his squadron's overseas bombing missions.
