The materials found in this collection primarily document Language Research, Inc.'s publications and projects. Much of the collection, pertains to LRI's signature publication series, English through Pictures as well as its French and Spanish iterations. The bulk of this material is comprised of lesson outlines, teaching notes, and film scripts. Additionally, the collection documents the activities of LRI in teaching programs around the world, as well as unaffiliated programs that used LRI's materials and methods. The bulk of that material is comprised of correspondence, articles, proposals, reports, and notes pertaining to these projects. Also included are materials relating more specifically to the individual work of I.A. Richards and Christine M. Gibson. Many of the documents found in the collection are undated.
