John W. Bausman, III Letters ca. 1957-1961

The John W. Bausman III Letters contain a group of 165 letters (handwritten and typewritten). Mr. Bausman, a young man working for the Associated Press, authored the letters from several European cities including Warsaw, Berlin, Budapest, and Frankfort) to his family in Exton, Pennsylvania. The letters offer his impression of post-World War II Europe and the ensuing Cold War. In addition to his family letters, the collection includes correspondence to and from Little Brown Publishers regarding the publication of a book and a group of postcards handwritten by Mr. Bausman.

One archival box containing nine folders; letters, envelopes, and postcards included.
