In 1950 the new Ozark bought out Park Airlines and with it inherited service to a number of cities in a nine-state region of the U.S. Midwest. The new Ozark company started service between St. Louis, its hub, and Chicago, with stops scattered throughout the area in between in smaller cities such as Alton, Bloomington, and Galesburg.
