Four books of the histories and Agricola [manuscript], 1591?

Translated from work by Cornelius Tacitus, with notes by Sir Henry Savile. Text published as The ende of Nero and beginning of Galba: Fower bookes of the Histories of Cornelius Tacitus, The life of Agricola, 1591 (STC 23642), but the manuscript version of the notes leaves spaces for Greek quotations, and has a few additional notes. Also, A view of certain military matters for the better understanding of the Roman stories (begins on leaf 164), which was first appended to the printed work in 1612 (STC 23646).
