Travel diary, 1872-1873 / Alice Dutton.

Dutton's travel diary of a tour in Europe in 1872-1873. She leaves Boston on May 21 and records entries of piano lessons, concerts attended, French lessons and sightseeing. She was studying piano with Alfred Jaell. The entries end on August 28, however there are added notes from 1873 in the rear of the volume that include piano lessons in Florence, Italy, mail sent, money exchanged (at Bowles Bros.) and dressmakers in Paris.
