The collection documents the realized installations of René Herbst's designs for 1930s expositions. Included are installation photographs of the Section de la métallurgie Française at the 1931 Exposition coloniale internationale de Paris and the Section des arts et métiers graphiques at the 1937 Paris Exposition internationale, as well as a photocollage of a display labeled Comité des Forges de France, possibly related to the 1939 New York World's Fair.
