Louanne Watley photographs, 2002-2010.

The photographs and supporting materials created by Louanne Watley span the years 2002-2010 and depict communities of Catholic nuns in Indiana, Kentucky, North Carolina, and Virginia, and images of their religious life in those communities. The formats are primarily black and white prints with some color prints, ranging in size from 5x7 to 18x24 inches, contact prints, Polaroids (diffusion transfer process), large color inkjet prints, and variously-sized negatives. Also contains one CD-ROM of Watley's photographic images. Acquired as part of the Archive of Documentary Arts at Duke University.
