Address by Dumas Malone to the Albemarle County Historical Society. The address includes a typed transcription of an address of the Citizens of the County of Albemarle to the Hon. Thomas Jefferson in 1789, and Mr. Jefferson's Reply. Malone defends Jefferson from charges of being a "Red" that is a Jacobin, defining Jefferson as a liberal, not a radical.
