Papers of Paul T. David [manuscript], 1944-1994.

Included is correspondence between Paul David, Michael Milde, and L. Welch Pogue concerning papers submitted by David and Pogue as part of the 50th anniversary of the International Civil Aviation Organization for which the Institute of Air and Space Law at McGill University published a collection of essays in 1994. Included are the following reports and essays on civil aviation: The International Civil Aviation Conference (1944) and Its Sequel the Anglo-American Bermuda Air Transport Agreement (1946) (report dated 1993); International Civil Aviation Conference, Chicago, Illinois, 1944 : Some Issues Decided and Events Occuring There; The 1946 Bermuda Air Transport Agreement by L. Welch and John Marshall Pogue (reports dated 1993); Report to the Civil Aeronautics Board on the Chicago International Aviation Conference by L. Welch Pogue and Development of the Convention of International Civil Aviation by Virginia C. Little (reports dated 1944); A Review of the Work at the Chicago Conference (from a Secretariat Point of View) by Paul T. David (report dated 1994). Included is the typed transcript of an oral history interview of Paul David conducted by Laurin L. Henry in 1990-1992 for the political science oral history program at the University of Kentucky. The transcript is in 16 volumes and 1,130 pages in length. Included is correspondence between Paul David and Richard Niehoff concerning a biography of noted educational statesman and student of administration, Floyd W. Reeves. Also included is a draft manuscript (with corrections) of the biography.
