Material regarding the career of Edward S. Gregory [manuscript] 1859-1884.

The bulk of the collection regarding his religious and literary pursuits and consists of the manuscripts or clipping of many of his works, some of which have been published in Bonniebell and other poems, and Lenore and other poems. Other material regarding his efforts to promote the standing of Virginia letters. Also included are 2 autographed scrapbooks kept while a student at Lynchburg College and account books, while other material touches his Civil War career. Correspondents include William E. Cameron, John W. Daniel, and Judge Micajah Davis.
