Letters from Richard Harding Davis [manuscript] 1899, 1906.

In an 1899 letter and cablegram to Charles Scribner Davis objects to the use of a portrait of himself as an illustration for one of his stories. In 1906 he thanks Norman Lee Swartwout for royalty payments, and in an undated letter thanks "Bobby" for clippings and comments on his latest work. A newspaper portrait of Davis is included.
