Letter, Fredericksburg, to Thomas F. Hastie, Winchester, Missouri [manuscript] 1841 May 10.

Buck informs Hastie, his financial agent in Missouri, that a draft for two hundred dollars has been drawn upon the house of N.E. Junney of St. Louis for him. He refers to the financial difficulties of the times and asks Hastie to take the cheapest route to Fredericksburg, where they will go over Hastie's business accounts. Buck also requests that Hastie find out about the taxes on his property in Missouri and get a deed for some land he had just purchased from James D. Smith.
