George F. Holmes letter to Dr. James F. Harrison [manuscript] 1870 Feb 1.

Holmes mentions that the decision on the "Chair of Mechanics & Machinery" at the "Blacksburg School" will be given at Richmond on the 15th. Holmes then discusses the upcoming "University bill" and mentions Dr. [Robert Lewis?]Dabney's letter concerning the bill which Col. Peters and Dr. Cabell will answer.
