The present policies of France [manuscript]: translations of speeches by Daniel de Cosnac and Jacques-Nicolas Colbert, 1685 translated in the 18th century.

Both speeches praise Louis XIV, urge religious unity, denounce Huguenots as lawbreakers and heretics and urge the king to offer military assistance to James II of England to restore Catholicism. Closing out the two speeches is a panegyric, post 1711, eulogizing the late Grand Dauphin Louis, and a postscript statement in a later hand praising Cosnac and the French effort to eradicate Calvinism.
