In a letter, 1865 November 24, Tennyson, Frarringford, Freshwater, Isle of Wight, thanks Arthur Penrhyn Stanley for a copy of "Lectures on the history of the Jewish Church." With the letter is a picture postcard of Tennyson based on an 1840 portrait by Samuel Laurence.
