Jean Jacques Régis de Cambacérès letters, 1795-1812.

Letters concerning government affairs. The first, dated April 3, 1812, addressed to the duke of Feltre, asks for advice on what to do about a shipment which has been unloaded without its contents having been divulged to Cambacérès. The second, dated Oct. 30, 1808, addressed to postmaster general M. De Lavalette, gives instructions for the delivery and pickup of government mail in the absence of the Emperor. The third, dated 23 ventôse, an 3 (March 13, 1795), is an official letter from the Revolutionary government to Représentant du Peuple Robert, announcing several government appointments and asking him to approve them.
