The collection consists of seven letters, six written by Chambers and one received by him, including: four letters to Harper & Brothers, publishers, 6 Feb.-28 March 1900, with news and information about publishing his work and business arrangements; to Dear Mr. Ames, 16 Oct. 1901, with recollections of his Washington Square youth; to Dear Mr. Johnson, undated, sending some requested verses; reply to Chambers from a representative of Harper & Brothers, circa 6 March 1900, answering questions posed in his letters.
