The collection consists of one manuscript document and ration chart providing for Quartermaster Alexander Ware issuing rations of meal, meat and salt to 206 Indians for a 10-day period witnessed by Jon W. Town and signed with their marks by four Indians, Capt. Senoywa, Capt. Edija, Warlockajoe and Hagy McIntosh. The second document has related orders from Luther Blake to Alexander Ware, 14 August 1825; and Alexander Ware to General E.P. Gaines.
