The bound album contains 153 silver gelatin prints, which document activities of the Panama-Pacific International Exposition of 1915 taken by Sadie E. Davenport, a San Francisco resident. The snapshots span multiple visits to the Fair over the course of the year. The album features views of the grounds, buildings, attractions, and events of the Fair in San Francisco. Included are several photos of the main structures and sculptures of the Fair, including the Palace of Fine Arts, Palace of Horticulture, Tower of Jewels, all of the Courts, and Fountain of Energy. Among the events featured are Opening Day, San Francisco Day and Art Smith's "aeroplane" flight. Also pictured are the buildings of various states and nations; general views of the Exposition grounds; views from the Harbor and of the Harbor; and crowd scenes. Of note, are Davenport's photographs of Davenport's women friends posing with Native Americas with the caption, "Indians at Exposition." Many night views of the lighted buildings and grounds are also included. Davenport captioned the majority of the photographs and included her own narrative about the Fair, the number of attendees, and the overall cost of the Fair.
