Two interview files include several family photographs. A series of oral histories featuring family members of the original inhabitants of the area that is known today as the Prairie Woods Environmental Learning Center, designed to enlighten the public about the original Scandinavian settlers who came to rural Minnesota. Oral history participants were Irene Brecke, Donald Danielson, Philip Johnson, Eleanore Pederson, Dennis Peterson, and Vernon Peterson. Interviews were conducted by Amanda Becker, Ragen Harder, Bev Knudsen, Mark Pawlowski, Connor Rausch and Dan Toledo.
