Center for Gene Research and Biotechnology records, 1989-2007.

The Center for Gene Research and Biotechnology Records consist of reports of research activities as well as materials documenting the graduate Molecular and Cellular Biology Program. The reports of research activities consist of Research Reports for 1989 and 1990/1991 thru 1992/1993 as well as Reports of Participating Faculty for 1991/1992 thru 1996/1997. These reports provide summary information about the Center, including facilities and services, and detailed descriptions of the active research programs of Oregon State University faculty affiliated with the Center. The reports also include summary information about the Molecular and Cellular Biology Program for graduate study. The Molecular and Cellular Biology Program records consist of annual reports for 1994/1995 thru 1999/2000, graduate curriculum course syllabi for 1994/1995 thru 2002/2003, graduate student handbooks for 1995-2007, and brochures for summer courses and workshops in 1997-2005. The graduate student handbooks provide information on services and facilities available to graduate students, degree requirements, and program policies; a 2007 handbook for graduate students in the Genetics Program is also included. Course booklets for 1996 and 1999 summer workshop courses on molecular biology techniques and applications are included. The 1996 course book was written by Walt Ream and Katharine G. Field and the 1999 edition by Indira Rajagopal and Meredith Howell.
