Photographs of the family of Winthrop Sargent (1753-1820), Revolutionary Army officer, Ohio Company agent, secretary of the Northwest Territory, and governor of the Mississippi Territory. Subjects include photographs of portrait paintings of family members Horace Binney Sargent, Lucius Manley Sargent, and John Turner, a photograph of Winthrop Sargent (1825-1870), and photos of Ahearn family gravestones. There are also two photographs of views of Gloster Place, Winthrop Sargent's home in Natchez, Miss., taken in 1923. Photographers include A. Clark and George Kendall Warren of Cambridgeport, Mass., among other unidentified photographers.

George K. Warren (1834-1884) was an American photographer active in Massachusetts in the second half of the 19th century. He was based in Lowell, Massachusetts from 1850 to 1870 and moved to Boston in 1870, where he worked until his death in 1884.
