The collection consists of miscellaneous documents relating to Alaska, Alaskan history, and the activities of the Nystroms. Included are: copies of Russian documents concerning Alaska, copies of the Russian/English newspaper the Alaska Herald for the years 1868 and 1875, newspaper clippings and magazine articles concerning various events in Alaska including the Constitutional Convention, statehood, and other subjects, and letters, cards, and invitations sent to the Nystroms by various public officials including Mrs. William A. Egan, Representative Ralph Rivers, Senator Bob Bartlett, and President Lyndon Johnson.
