Margaret McCormick papers, 1943-1946.

Contains photocopies of letters written by McCormick to John Mayhead, 1943-1946 describing her training in the WASP program at Avenger Field, Sweetwater, Texas and service with the WASP until disbandment in 1944. Two of the letters were written to Mr. Mayhead while he was a prisoner of war in Germany during World War II. Also contains scanned priints of two photographs of McCormick, Fifinella emblem and a news clipping about McCormick ca. 1943.
