Luiz Fernando Vallim Lopes discusses Boulton's Portuguese recordings in "Reconstructing Laura Boulton's 1953 expedition to Portugal: What can we learn from the fieldwork recordings? Ilze Akerbergs presentation, "Rhythms for a common purpose," examines Laura Boulton's work with the National Film Board of Canada and John Grierson, Board commissioner, to produce eleven documentary films during WWII.
