Discussion includes his experiences as the host of a children's television show; the T-Bar-V theme song; Cactus Brooks; his different radio programs, including Old Kentucky Barn Dance; the start of Hayloft Hoedown; the Swinging Cowboys band; production of his television shows; his charity work for the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the Crusade for Children, and the Louisville Fund; memories of the Hayloft Hoedown band; and comments on the most requested songs from Hayloft Hoedown.

Television personality and country music artist. Born December 7, 1918. Died October 9, 2002. Best known for his work during the 1950s-1960s as the host of two Louisville-based television shows, T-Bar-V Ranch and Hayloft Hoedown. During his later career gained a reputation as a respected reader for the American Printing House for the Blind, for whom he recorded over 600 books.
