Marriage certificate, 1872 May 28.

Marriage certificate for Cadwalader Evans and Angeline Burr Corse, dated May 28, 1872. Ceremony performed by George H. Houghton, Rector of the Church of the Transfiguration in the City of New York. Certificate is signed by those who witnessed the ceremony. Scroll is mounted on a blue velvet roller with ends of engraved gold bands and embossed gold and silver designs, rolled in a silk cloth and presented in a silk-lined leather case; the whole executed by Tiffany & Co.
