Letter book, 1829-1841, containing copies of his letters concerning numerous business matters, including many about the development of industry on Esopus Creek, and his water rights there. Some of his more frequent correspondents were: George Barclay, Henry Cary, Henry H. Elliott, Philip J. Kearny, John W. Kearny, Robert L. Livingston, Ann Parsons, Ezra Weeks, and William Young. The volume includes an index.
