The collection consists of a copy of a letter from Kinney Rorrer to David McKinney, 1985 November 19; and two invitations pertaining to the 1930 Beaux Arts Ball, "A Night in Atlantis," sponsored by the School of Architecture's chapter of Alpha Rho Chi. The letter comments particularly on the music for the event, provided by McKinney's Cotton Pickers, an influential black jazz band of the late 1920s and early 1930s.
