Nora E. Kreps photograph album [graphic], ca. 1908-1910.

The album reflects Nora Kreps' life at Fort Davis in Nome during her high school years. Classmates and school activities, including the "Arctic Sisterhood Basketball Team" are shown. She also took photos around Fort Davis and on her various trips in Alaska, including a trip through the Inside Passage. Many individuals from the Nome community are identified. The album is intact. Handwritten captions accompany most of the photographs. Photographers represented in her album include: Lomen Brothers, Goetze, Simmer, Dobbs and Nowell. Places include: Bering Sea, Cape Prince of Wales, Copper River, Dutch Harbor, Fort Davis, Fort Egbert, Fort Gibbon, Fort Liscum, Fort Seward, Holy Cross Mission, Nome, Point Barrow, Point Hope, Port Clarence, St. Michael's, Solomon, St. Lawrence Bay (Siberia), Unalaska, Valdez, and Yukon River.

Nora Elizabeth Kreps lived at Fort Davis in Nome during her high school years. In 1908 she traveled through the Inside Passage, Prince William Sound and into the Bering Sea.
