Autograph letter signed : London, to Frances Wright, Paris, 1827 Aug. 25 and 27.

Owen writes about people he met while traveling to London; his father's plans to return to America; and people, including Philip Skene and Henry Leigh Hunt, that he would like Wright to meet. He also writes that Mrs. Shelley lives a quiet life in Brighton and that he has met Count Lasteryrie. He asks after Wright's sister Camilla and for Wright to convey he respects to General Lafayette and the family at La Grange. Folded letter sheet with address.
