This collection is a direct result of the work Musmanno did to lead the U.S. investigation to determine if Adolf Hitler had died. The largest part of the collection contains information gathered from personal interviews with Hitler's secretaries, his dentist, many of the top Reich generals, and other persons who knew of or about Hitler. Musmanno also collected official documents relating to these persons. The collection contains photographs taken with Musmanno and the interviewee as well as photographs given to Musmanno by some of the interviewees and photographs collected from other sources. The collection also contains material relating to the publication of Musmanno's book, Ten days to die, based on the material he had collected. This includes copies of the manuscript, correspondence and reviews as well as material concerning the move made from the book.
