Photograph of the bindery of the publishing firm, Little, Brown and Company located on Blackstone Street in Cambridge, Mass. The bindery was known as the Riverside Bindery, although it is not to be confused with the Riverside Press whose buildings were across the street from the Bindery. The structure in this photograph served as Little, Brown and Company's bindery from approximately 1852 to 1902 when it was torn down and replaced by another building for their bindery. Little, Brown and Company terminated it's bookbinding operations in the late 1940s.
