BIOGHIST REQUIRED Chris Claremont is the internationally recognized comic book writer and novelist best known for his work on Marvel's X-Men comic books and, in particular, his 17 year stint writing the book The Uncanny X-Men. Claremont was born in London in 1950. His family moved to the U.S. in 1952 and settled in Long Island when Claremont was eight.
