Series 1. Professional life, 1935 to 1973: Correspondence, published articles, conference booklets, and other items relating to Marurice Olely's career and professional activities. Primarily the correspondence dealing with the engineering of the ride and handling of the automobile while working for Rolls-Royce, Vauxhaul, and Chevrolet Companies. Series 2. Personal life, 1889 to 1983: Diaries, correspondence, photographs, newspaper clippings, books, and items relating to the personal life of Mr. Olley. Primarily the collection consists of the diaries dating from 1939 to 1971. Non-manuscript materials, 1901 to 1970: Awards, photos, slide ruler, drafting kit, and items relating to Marurice Olley's family and career. Among the correspondents are: William Lichty, Maurice Platt, William f. Milliken, and Robert Shilling.
