The great bottle question : autograph letter and pencil sketch, [1853?].

Contains an autograph letter written to George Cruikshank by the Editor of "The Illustrated Magazine of Art," 5 Clarendon Road, Notting Hill, ca. 1853. The letter contains pen-and-ink sketches by Cruikshank entitled "The Great Bottle Question" on verso. Bound together with the original cover to the January 1854 edition of the "Illustrated Magazine of Art" having a woodcut illustration by George Cruikshank. Also includes a specially written title page and transcription of the letter.
