Collection of 15 different handbills and small broadsides issued by the Socorro Rojo Internacional, a communist organization founded in 1921 to aid political prisoners. The material was issued during the Spanish Civil War, at times in conjunction with other groups. Topics include anti-fascist propaganda, calls for assistance incivilian relief, declarations of solidarity with the Soviet Union. Includes a handbill announcement for a meeting in honor of fallen Communist leader Hans Beimler.
