Most of these images date from the 1880s to the 1920s. Two family photograph collections are separate series documenting the families of Dr. Fred Rose, long-time Cooperstown, N.D. dentist; and Norwegian immigrant Sander Sanderson. The Sanderson collection prints were taken primarily in the Chicago, Illinois and Viroqua, Wisconsin areas.
