Two documents signed by Governor Palmer appointing notary publics. One in 1870 for Samuel Briley of Union County. One in 1871 for John Loomis of Jacksonville, Illinois. A 1869 invitation from the United Fellows and Kindred Societies of Freedmen asking him to address the Society on New Years day 1870 in Chicago. Signed by members of the Committee of Arrangements and numerous other members of the Society. Henry May was chairman of the Committee.
