Bredo W. Berghoff photograph albums, 1926-1927.

The photograph albums are comprised of snapshots documenting travel to and within Russia with a primary focus on Russian tractor operations. Images also depict Russian villages and cities, workers and factories, roadways and rivers, tractor plowing, mountain trials, and the Ford pavillion at an international agricultural fair held in the city of Tiflis (now T'bilisi, capital of the Republic of Georgia). Includes a portrait of Berghoff.

A draftsman when he joined the Ford Motor Company in 1907, Berghoff soon moved into the Tool Design Department. He became involved in tractor operations in 1917, assisting in the development of the Fordson Tractor in England. In 1926, Berghoff was part of a Ford Motor Company group traveling to Russia to survey the use and servicing of tractors and to consider sites for establishing a factory.
