Copy of a mimeograph, written by an anonymous German citizen, ca. 1939, circulated by American soldiers early in World War II. The essay gives alleged first hand information about social and economic conditions in Hitler Germany. It is believed that A. Lawrence Lowell, president of Harvard, 1909-33, participated in circulating this manuscript.

Nicola Sacco (1891-1927) and Bartolomeo Vanzetti (1888-1927) were Italian immigrants who were tried and executed for robbery and murder of payroll guards Frederick Albert Parmenter and Alessandro Berardelli.
